UNLV Runnin' Rebels Defeat University of New Mexico Lobos 83-73 in Mountain West Conference Road Game

The UNLV Runnin' Rebels men's basketball team secured an 83-73 victory over the University of New Mexico Lobos in a Mountain West Conference road game on Tuesday night. The game was held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Runnin' Rebels took control of the game in the second half, turning a two-point halftime lead into a 10-point victory.

The Lobos struggled to keep up with the Runnin' Rebels, and their chances of a comeback were further diminished when Jaelen House picked up a costly technical foul during a dead-ball scrum in the second half. UNLV capitalized on the momentum shift and secured the win.

The victory marks the second straight road loss in conference play for the Lobos, who now have a record of 13-3 overall and 1-2 in the Mountain West Conference. The Runnin' Rebels, on the other hand, improve their record to 11-5 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

The UNLV Runnin' Rebels will look to continue their winning streak when they face off against the San Diego State Aztecs in their next game on Saturday, January 13th. Meanwhile, the University of New Mexico Lobos will aim to bounce back from their recent losses when they take on the Colorado State Rams on the same day.
