Stockland Commences Final Stage of Queensland Logistics Estate

Diversified property group Stockland Developments has announced the commencement of the final stage of its 19ha industrial estate at Willawong in Brisbane's southern suburbs. The $90-million fourth and final stage of the Willawong Distribution Centre has been approved by Brisbane City Council and is expected to be completed in the near future.

The development will feature:

  • Two, two-storey buildings, each producing five separate warehouse tenancies.
  • A combined gross floor area of about 45,622 square meters.
  • Separate hardstand areas for each building.
  • Outdoor recreational areas for each of the five warehouse tenancies.
  • Parking facilities for 467 vehicles.

The first stage of the Willawong Distribution Centre was completed in early 2019, followed by the second stage in late 2020, and the third stage in March of the previous year. All stages are fully leased, and the fourth stage is located in the north-eastern part of the estate at 221 Gooderham Road, approximately 19.5km from Brisbane's center. This final stage will adjoin Stockland Pallara, a masterplanned community in the area.
