Nevada Holds Off Air Force in Mountain West Conference

In a recent men's basketball game, Nevada faced Air Force in the Mountain West Conference. The game was held at Lawlor Events Center, with 7,645 fans in attendance. Nevada emerged victorious, improving their overall record to 15-1 and their conference record to 2-1.

The game was tense, but Nevada managed to secure their second conference win. The Wolf Pack's Kenan Blackshear led the team with a game-high 22 points, while Jarod Lucas added 14 points and Nick Davidson had 12 points and 10 rebounds. The 54 points scored by the Falcons marked a season-low for the team.

Nevada coach Steve Alford acknowledged that the game was not pretty, but having a veteran group helped against the slower pace, Princeton-style offense that the Falcons prefer. "We kept fighting and we led almost from start to finish," Alford said.

This victory adds to Nevada's successful season, showcasing their ability to compete in the Mountain West Conference.
