MSI CLAW Gaming Handheld to Feature Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Processor

MSI has leaked information about its upcoming gaming handheld device, the CLAW, which will be powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H SKU processor. This processor boasts a total of 16 cores and 22 threads, which is double what the Ryzen Z1 Extreme offers.

The Core Ultra 7 155H is a 28W processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.8 GHz. The CLAW will also feature Arc Alchemist architecture with 8 Xe-Cores boosting up to 2.25 GHz, which is a hybrid of P-Cores and E-cores.

This architecture has not been a popular choice among handheld makers due to limited graphics performance, but the introduction of the Intel Core Ultra 100H series has changed this. The system will feature 6 P-Cores and 8 E-cores, with 2 LP-Cores. The CLAW will have 32GB of memory and will compete with ASUS and Lenovo's gaming handheld devices.
