Browns Announce Inactives for Week 18 vs. the Bengals

The Cleveland Browns have announced their inactives for their Week 18 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. According to, the following Browns players will not be playing in Sunday's game:

  • CB Greg Newsome II
  • S Juan Thornhill
  • WR Amari Cooper
  • WR Marquise Goodwin
  • K Dustin Hopkins
  • CB Mike Ford Jr.
  • DE Myles Garrett

Additionally, LB Anthony Walker Jr. has been placed on injured reserve, while DE Sam Kamara has been signed to the active roster from the practice squad. K Riley Patterson and S Vincent Gray have been elevated from the practice squad.

The Browns have already made it clear that QB Joe Flacco will not be playing in Week 18, and adjusted his contract accordingly, while also ruling out seven players. The Bengals listed WR Tee Higgins as doubtful for this meaningless game. While we may not know every player who will actually see the field, being without Awuzie, Smith Jr. and others will also impact the Bengals performance today.

The Browns and Bengals face off in the 2023 season finale down on the shores of the Ohio River.
