Aaron Rodgers' Appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" Causes Controversy for ESPN

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been making headlines recently for his appearances on "The Pat McAfee Show", a sports talk show that airs on YouTube and SiriusXM. Rodgers has turned the show into an $85 million ESPN disaster. The relationship between Rodgers and McAfee has been cultivated for years, starting with McAfee's first run on "College GameDay." ESPN executives had their eyes wide open about the McAfee move, but it needs to rate better. The mistake may be that ESPN has put the internet on TV, including Rodgers and all his theories.

During his appearance on the show, Rodgers addressed his recent feud with Jimmy Kimmel, denying that he insinuated that the ABC late-night host would be on the Jeffrey Epstein list. Rodgers then took aim at Mike Foss, ESPN's senior vice president of production who oversees the network's collaboration with McAfee's show. Rodgers threw in a barb at Kimmel, who believed he was slandered by an implication by Rodgers on last week's show that he was fearful some of which have since been released, called out Rodgers during a salty monologue Monday night.

Rodgers has also been critical of the Jets organization, saying that they need to get the "bulls--t" out of the building if they want to be a winning organization. Despite the controversy, Rodgers' appearances on "The Pat McAfee Show" have been popular with fans, and he has been praised for his candid and unfiltered commentary on a variety of topics.
