Eddie Howe remains optimistic despite Newcastle's struggles

Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, has dismissed the popular theory for his team's struggles after a worrying run of results. Despite the team's poor form, Howe remains positive and is determined to improve things. He took over a struggling Newcastle team in November 2021 and has been working hard to turn things around.

"When we first came to the club, that was an incredibly difficult time for us where we were battling relegation," Howe said. "But we've made some progress since then, and we're continuing to work hard to improve."

Newcastle United is set to face Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, and Howe is getting ready to face their new manager, Nuno Espirito Santo. Nuno's first game in charge ended in a tight 3-2 loss to Bournemouth. He has faced Newcastle seven times before with Wolves and Tottenham, winning twice and drawing five times.
"Whenever you play a team that's changed manager, that's always an interesting dynamic because of the potential changes tactically, so we're going to have to be well prepared for the match," Howe stated.

Despite the challenges, Howe remains optimistic about his team's future and is determined to lead them to success.
